This guide service is composed of myself(Mike Mitchell) and my good friend Richard Woodruff. Our speciality is Catfishing on the Tennessee River. Rates are 250 dollars for a full day (8 hour trip), for 1 or 2 persons, add an extra person for 50 dollars, or 200 dollars for half day (6 hour trip). We fish year round, but the prime time for trophy blue cats is September - March. We catch both trophy blues and some nice flatheads in April. May and early June is the best time to Night fish for trophy flatheads and some nice blues. July and August it gets hot, the action can also be hot but most cats will range from 1-30 pounds . We operate two guide boats and can accomodate up to 7 people per day. Primarely we fish for Bluecats on Pickwick, Wilson, Wheeler, Guntersville, and Nickajack lakes; but we will take special request and target the species of your choice on the lake/river of your choice. We fish for both trophy and smaller eating size fish, all cats over 15 lbs are photographed and released. We provide all necessary equipment, boat, and bait. You are responsible for your own lodging, meals, and fishing liscense. Camp sites are numerous and convient to all of the areas we fish as well.
